Many people today live only with the senses of the three-dimensional world. Just as a two–dimensional being can never understand the depth, volume, and perspective of the third dimension, a person who lives only by the flesh cannot understand the spiritual world. Even the greatest scientists can only describe the fourth dimension through mathematics and theory, but they cannot truly see or experience it. Their understanding stops at the limits of 3D space.
But something miraculous happens when the Holy Spirit comes into a person. The dead spirit comes alive, and a new sense awakens—an ability to sense, perceive, and understand the spiritual world. This is what we call “spiritual perception” or “spiritual sensitivity.” It is as if a door opens beyond the three dimensions, and the realities of the fourth dimension—truth, eternity, heaven, and God’s presence—become vivid and real.
The world sees only what is visible and temporary, so they think this earthly life is everything. They build their lives like sandcastles, believing what they see will last forever. That is why they call Christian “foolish” for seeking heavenly rewards(fruit). But the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to a dimension they cannot see. We begin to feel eternity, to see the unseen, to understand that heaven is more real than the world we touch.
So we do not cling to the sandcastle of this world. With our spiritual senses awakened, we live for the eternal kingdom. What we plant on this earth, we will harvest in heaven. This is the true wisdom that goes beyond the limits of the 3D world.
