Healing Testimony: Freedom from Migraine Through Prayer

This testimony shares how a nurse from northern India was freed from long-term migraine through prayer and committed to continuing her life of faith by worshiping and walking with the Lord.

My name is Rohini. I am a thirty-eight-year-old woman from Uttarakhand, India. I work as a Nursing Officer at a Community Health Centre (CHC) hospital. I provide primary healthcare services to the local community.

For nearly twelve years, I suffered from severe migraine headaches. The pain was beyond explanation. Only those who have experienced it can truly understand how intense it was. Whenever the pain came, I could not find relief without injections. Over time, I became dependent on injections. During severe attacks, I had to inject myself. I also took many different medications, but none of them brought lasting relief.

On December tenth, two thousand twenty-five, I attended a prayer meeting organized through MBstudy. As I opened my heart before God and prayed, I felt a strange sensation, like ants crawling on my head. At that very moment, the pain that had troubled me for many years disappeared completely. I cannot explain how the pain disappeared. From that time until now, I have continued to feel well and refreshed. I feel as if I have become a new person. In all these years, I had never experienced anything like this before.

I thank God, who loves me, and I give Him all the glory for this healing. Through this experience, I have come to know His love more deeply. I am grateful that He is still living and working today. In the northern region of India where I work, there are very few churches. Because of this, being able to worship God online has become a great joy and blessing for me. From now on, I desire to continue my life of faith by worshiping God and living my life with the Lord each day.
