The Magi presented gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the infant Jesus. These three gifts were not merely offerings, but they reveal the spiritual gifts we are called to offer to the Lord at Christmas.
First, gold represents an unchanging heart.
Gold does not lose its value over time. It represents a steadfast faith and a heart that is not shaken by circumstances or emotions. The Lord desires us to love Him with a heart that remains faithful even when our environment changes and our situation is difficult, and to remember His grace without wavering.
How, then, can we have a heart like pure gold?
God desires to remove the impurities within our hearts and to form in us a heart that is completely pure. These impurities are not only sins committed outwardly—such as strife and deceit—but also sins formed in our thoughts, such as hatred, envy, jealousy, immorality, anger, complaining, and judgment. God refines us so that we may put these things away.
“The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests hearts.” (Proverbs Chapter 17 Verse 3, NASB)
When these impurities are removed, our hearts become like gold—unchanging and pure.
Second, frankincense represents a fragrant worship.
Frankincense is a fragrance offered to God. It points to worship that goes beyond words and songs, becoming a life offered to Him. What pleases the Lord is not outward form, but the fragrance of worship that rises from a sincere heart.
Worship is not limited to a specific time or place. A life that chooses goodness and truth, seeks the benefit of others, and practices forgiveness becomes a beautiful fragrance to God. On the other hand, a life that continues in sin does not become a fragrance to Him, but an unpleasant odor.
Third, myrrh represents a commitment to holiness that resists corruption.
Just as myrrh was used to prevent decay, we are called—like salt—to resist the ways of the world and to guard the truth by living according to God’s Word.
These are the gifts we can offer to the Lord at Christmas. Love is not something we only receive; it is something we give.

Praise the lord everyone this is such a wonderful message that we have to give gifts to our Jesus Christ on this Christmas because, he has already given us so many gifts but on this Christmas now it’s our turn so that are the things which we can give to our Lord Jesus Christ as a gift…..?
So we can give gold to our Lord Jesus Christ as a gift here gold represents to our unchangeable heart. Lord desires us to love him with a heart that remains faithful even in those situations when the situations are not favourable to us…..
And second we can gift frankincense which represents worship, worship is like prayer, when we worship to our Lord it means we talk to our Lord when we worship then God receives the fragrance of our worship so whenever we worship we must do it through our inner soul, our hearts so that God will receive the fragrance of our worship….
And the third one is mrryh which represents a commitment of holiness that resists corruption just as meyyr was used to prevent decay, we are called salt to resist the ways of the world and to guard truth by living according to our God’s word…….
So these are the gifts which we can give to our God as a gift on this Christmas…
Thank you so much our Father God and Jesus Christ for giving us this message….
Now we shall prepare our gifts..❤️🌸
