The Trust and Perseverance We Need When No Answer Is Seen
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you.” 2 Peter 3:9
God has been patient with me. Yet I have often failed to wait patiently for His answer. Whenever I faced difficulties, I made promises to God. “If You help me this time, I will live according to Your Word.” “I will not become angry again.” “I will pray more faithfully from now on.”
However, when the difficulty passed, I often forgot my promises and repeated the same mistakes. Then, when another problem came, I returned to God and asked for His help again. A person might respond, “You did not keep your last promise. Why are you asking me again?” or “You only make promises, but you never change.”
But God does not abandon us simply because we fall again. He helps us recognize our sins, gives us another opportunity to repent, and holds us so that we can rise again. This does not mean that God considers sin acceptable. He wants us to turn away from sin, but He does not easily give up on us when our change is slow.
“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions… and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 43:25
When the Bible says that God does not remember our sins, it does not mean that He forgets the past. It means that when we sincerely repent, He does not bring up our forgiven sins again to condemn us or use them as a reason to abandon us. We can pray again today not because we have kept all our promises, but because God has been patient with us.
Yet I Could Not Wait
God waited patiently for me to change. However, I became discouraged when the answer to my prayer did not come quickly. “Is God really listening to my prayer?” “Why is He not helping me?” “Why has nothing changed even though I have prayed for so long?”
At first, we pray earnestly. But when we do not see an answer, we may begin to pray less and complain more. Sometimes we even question God’s love. God did not give up on me, even though I broke my promises many times. Yet I almost gave up on God simply because He did not answer at the time I wanted.
Waiting for God does not mean patiently enduring something wrong that He has done. It means trusting His love and goodness even when we cannot yet understand His will or see His answer. To wait patiently, we need trust. God gives us the best things, in the best way, at the best time.
What I want may not always be what is best for me. The way I want a problem to be solved may not be the safest way. The time I prefer may not be the best time. But God knows me better than I know myself. He knows what I need and when I need it.
“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Romans 8:25
A time without a visible answer is not a time when God has forgotten us. It can be a time when we learn to trust Him and grow in faith.
God’s patience is the love that does not give up on me. My perseverance is the faith that continues to trust His love.
Today’s Reflection
Have I questioned God’s love because His answer seemed to be delayed? Even if I cannot see an answer today, let me pray again and trust that God will give me the best thing, in the best way, at the best time.

Today’s QT makes us realize God’s love and mercy towards us and how compassionate He is. When we commit sins, He wants us to realize our sins as soon as possible and repent, so that we can return to Him again. Today’s message made me think about how great God’s love is—that He loves me. When I think about the fact that God has loved me, I realize that I was nothing, yet He still chose me and showed mercy to me. Through this message, I looked back and realized that I too had made promises to God. I said, “If You hear my prayer, if You answer this prayer of mine, I will walk according to Your Word and follow Your will.” But when God answered my prayers, I forgot those promises and went back to doing the same things again. Yet, God still showed mercy to me. When I repented, He forgave me.
Lord, I thank You for loving me and for choosing me from this world. I will never forget Your grace and mercy upon me.

मैं परमेश्वर का हृदय से इस सुंदर संदेश के लिए धन्यवाद देती हूँ। इस संदेश के द्वारा मैंने भी एहसास किया कि परमेश्वर धैर्यवान परमेश्वर हैं। वह धैर्य रखते हैं कि हम अपने हृदय का परिवर्तन करें और अपने पापों का एहसास करें।
कभी-कभी हमें लगता है कि हमारी प्रार्थना का उत्तर नहीं मिल रहा है और हम सोचते हैं कि परमेश्वर ने हमें छोड़ दिया है या वह हमारी प्रार्थना नहीं सुन रहे हैं। लेकिन परमेश्वर हमें कभी नहीं छोड़ते, बल्कि हमेशा हमारे साथ रहते हैं। वह उस सही समय का इंतज़ार करते हैं, जो हमारे लिए उचित होता है।
हमें भी परमेश्वर पर विश्वास करना है और धैर्य के साथ उनके सही समय का इंतज़ार करना है।

Really It’s very amazing and heart touching Verse because it tells us that God has patience with me but I couldn’t wait for my lord answer..
This verse touch me deeply in my heart because it’s truth that I can’t wait for jesus answer instead of waiting for his reply..
My Lord Jesus has suffered so much to save me from my sins. But I feel so bad that I cannot even wait patiently for His answer. He has done so much for me..
I apologise to god for do that and From today onwards, I will change my itself by trusting you blindly that you will help me forever.. Amen 🙏
