Does the Lord Have Something for You to Do Today?
Sometimes, without realizing it, our Christian life can become a routine. We go to church, worship, pray, serve, and do the things we have always done. These are all important. But I don’t want my faith to become just a routine. God is alive today, and He still leads us today. So I think we need to ask Him each day, “Lord, what do You want me to do today? Is there something You want me to do for You today?”
Think about a child whose parent says, “Please go to the store and buy some milk.” The child’s job is not to go to the store and buy whatever he wants. He listens to what his parent asked and does it. In a simple way, I think our walk with God can be like this too. It is not only about doing what I think is good. It is also about listening to what God wants me to do today.
Maybe there is someone He wants me to call. Maybe someone needs encouragement. Maybe I should pray for someone, visit someone, help someone, or share God’s Word with someone. But there is something we need to be careful about. Just because something comes into my mind does not mean it is always the leading of the Holy Spirit. It could simply be my own thought, emotion, or desire. So I need to pray and discern. Does it agree with God’s Word? Is it good? Does it lead to love?
And sometimes the opposite happens. The Holy Spirit may be leading me, but my own thoughts get in the way. “Why should I do that?” “Why me?” “Do I really need to do this?”
I experienced something like this today. There is someone I meet every Tuesday. Today he sent me a message saying that he had been injured and could not meet with me. I replied, “I hope you recover soon.” That could have been the end of it. But after that, I kept having this thought in my heart: “Send him something small.” Maybe a coffee coupon or something simple to encourage him. Then another thought came: “Why should I send him something? Do I really need to?” For a while, these two thoughts were in my heart. But the thought of sending something did not go away. So finally, I sent him a small coffee coupon.
I don’t know what will happen because of it. Maybe nothing special will happen, and that is okay. The result is not the important part. I don’t need him to thank me. I don’t need to receive something back. And I don’t want to think, “I obeyed God, so now God will bless me.” For me, the important thing is that I tried to listen, discern, and obey. If God helped me hear His leading and gave me the heart to obey, that itself is grace. And I am thankful for that.
This is something I want to practice more in my own life. Not only going to church, worshiping, praying, and doing the same things I normally do, but asking God each day, “Lord, is there something You want me to do today?” It may be just one phone call. It may be checking on someone who is sick. It may be a small gift, a prayer, a visit, or a word of encouragement. It may seem very small. But perhaps it is a small task the Lord has for me today.
So let’s not live our faith only by habit or routine. Day by day, let’s ask, listen, discern, and obey. And after we obey, we can leave the result to God. The blessing that comes afterward is not the most important thing. Being able to obey is already a blessing and a grace.

आज मैं पवित्र आत्मा का धन्यवाद करना चाहती हूँ, क्योंकि आज जब मेरा मन बहुत बेचैन था और मैं ठीक से प्रार्थना भी नहीं कर पाई थी, तब पवित्र आत्मा ने मेरी बहुत सहायता की।
हालाँकि मैं आज ऑफिस गई थी, लेकिन मेरी तबीयत थोड़ी ठीक नहीं लग रही थी। इसलिए मैंने छुट्टी ली और सीधे चर्च चली गई। वहाँ मैंने प्रार्थना की, परमेश्वर का संदेश सुना और फिर पवित्र आत्मा से विशेष रूप से सहायता माँगी, ताकि मैं सदस्यों से अच्छी तरह बात कर सकूँ और उन्हें प्रोत्साहित कर सकूँ।
इसके बाद मैंने कुछ सदस्यों से बात की। मैंने खंडवा की विमला बाईजी से भी बात की और अन्य सदस्यों को भी फोन किया, हालाँकि कुछ सदस्य उस समय फोन नहीं उठा पाए।
फिर भी मैं अपने पिता परमेश्वर का हृदय से धन्यवाद देती हूँ कि मुझे प्रार्थना करने तथा सदस्यों से बात करने की सामर्थ्य दी।
मैं विश्वास करती हूँ कि जब हम सच्चे मन से परमेश्वर की सहायता माँगते हैं, तो वह हमें कभी अकेला नहीं छोड़ते, बल्कि पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा हमारी सहायता करते हैं।
पिता परमेश्वर, आपकी सहायता और प्रेम के लिए आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद। सारी महिमा और स्तुति केवल आपको मिले। आमीन।
God has prepared so many things for us. He wants us to do what He desires, because His will for our lives is different from our own desires. But many times, instead of following God’s will, we start following our own desires. When we pray, Father God, what do You want me to do today? the Holy Spirit guides us and shows us what we should do. However, many times we mistake our own thoughts for the voice of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we need to be careful and learn to understand what the voice of the Holy Spirit truly is.
Today, I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit. A girl in my class came to me and started speaking badly about another girl. Then I felt in my heart that I should not listen to those things because it was wrong. So, I chose not to listen to her and walked away from there.
I thank God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit for guiding me and helping me to do what is right.

सच यही ओ सच्चा आशीर्वाद है अगर हम परमेश्वर की इच्छा को समझते हैं और पालन करते हैं इस वचन से यही सीखी हु कि कई बार मेरे हृदय में ऐसा होता हैं कि पिता नहीं कैसे में समझू की की यह आपकी इच्छा है यद्धपि प्रार्थना करती हूं सभा में शामिल होती हूं लेकिन फिर भी मन में लगता हैं ये हर दिन की दिनचर्या है इसके आगे कैसे मुझे क्या करना चाहिए दो विचार सामने आते रहते है आज मुझे क्या करना चाहिए अपने आप में ही यह मन में होती रहती हैं कि प्रभु आज क्या किया मैने आपके लिए हर दिन मेरे अंदर ऐसा ही होता हैं मैं साफ रूप से पवित्र आत्मा की आवाज को सुनकर अब पालन करने की कृपा को पाना चाहती हूं

पवित्र आत्मा कि आवाज को मैने सुना और वो चाहते है कि मै उन लोगोको कॉल करके हालचाल पूछू जिसको मेरी जरुरत है. उनको वचन share करू और उनकी मदत करू. पर मेरे mummy के विचार मुझे बाधा डाल रहे थे कि मै कहा जाऊ कि हर सांसारिक चिझोसे लोगोसे दूर रहू. मैने प्रभुको बोला कि कहा जाके रहू मुझे अपनी mummy से दूर रेहना जो संसार से संसार कि वास्तुसे प्रेम करती है कापडोसे प्रेम करती है मंगळसूत्र पेहनती है बिंधी लगाती है ये प्रभुसे जादा और मुझसे बी जाधा इसको संसार के लोगोसे बात करणा पसंत है अपना और मेरा भी टाइम बरबाद कर देती है. ऐसे बहोत अलग अलग विचार आणे लगे मेरे मनमे नितेश भाई ने भी मुझे समझाया कि मम्मी अपना काम करती है तू उसपर ध्यान नही देना. और मुझे ये अभि संदेश मिला. कि अपने विचारोसे ना चलू और नाही मम्मी के मुझे जो आज पवित्र आत्मा ने कहा है वोही करू.
और कल रातको पास्टर्जी सपनोमे आये और मुझसे बात कि.
कि तू पास्टर बनेगी तेरा 5 वा नंबर है बस इतनाही सपनोमे देखा और मै विचार करती रही काश ये मेरा सपना पुरा हो. और मै संसार से सांसारिक चिझोसे आझाद होणा चाहती हू उन लोगोसे जो संसार को और सांसारिक चिझोको महत्व देते है. अगर मेरी मम्मी को छोडणा पडेगा तोभी छोड दूंगी. जैसे येशूने अपनी माँ से कहा था कि हे नारी ये तेरा पुत्र है और तू इसकी माता है युहान्ना को कहा था इसका ख्याल रखना वैसेही मै अपनी माँ को छोडकर जाना चाहती हू पर कहा जाऊ मुझे कुछ समझमेही नही आरहा मेरे बेटेको भी ये सब चिझे पसंत नही वो अभि पडाईमे और स्टडी मे ध्यान देता है और बहोत ही शांत रेहता है मै बहोत खुश हू.
