Although I was diagnosed at the hospital with severe atopic dermatitis, a chronic form of eczema, God’s grace set me free from 16 years of illness.

It has been sixteen years since I was healed of severe eczema, and it has never returned. Whenever I think back on that time, my heart is filled with gratitude for God’s grace and love.
My eczema began when I was five years old. Every summer, it would appear on the folds of my arms and legs and then gradually subside. The same pattern occurred in June 2007, so I assumed it would disappear as it always had. However, by August, the eczema had spread severely over my legs, arms, ears, and face.
The itching was unbearable. I scratched until my skin bled. When I woke up in the morning, my pillow and bedsheets were soaked with blood and discharge. My face was swollen, and even opening my mouth slightly caused my skin to tear. It was extremely difficult to talk or eat. My eyes would stick together from the discharge, and I had to open them with my hands. Each time I did, the wounds would reopen, causing more bleeding and pain. It felt like an endless cycle of suffering.
At the hospital, I was diagnosed with severe atopic dermatitis. Rather than falling into despair, I decided to hold on to faith and seek healing from God. During that time, I heard many testimonies of people who had been healed from skin diseases, and this gave me hope that God could heal me as well.
As I went through this illness, I found myself relying on God more earnestly than ever before. I prayed with fasting and spent time repenting and reflecting on my life. Though my condition was painful, it drew me closer to God and deepened my faith.
Over time, changes began to appear. The constant oozing and discharge from my wounds gradually dried up, and the intense itching began to subside. Scabs formed over my body, then slowly fell away as new skin appeared. Step by step, my condition improved, and before long, my eczema was completely healed. Hallelujah.

Looking back, I am deeply thankful that I came to know this good and loving God. If I had not experienced His grace, I might still be living in pain. Today, I can eat comfortably, speak freely, and wear short sleeves and shorts without any discomfort. I give all thanks and glory to God, who comforted me in the midst of suffering and completely healed me of severe eczema.
