“I want to do God’s work.” But when we actually think about doing ministry, we may not know where to begin. Should I quit my job and work at church? Should I go to seminary? Should I become a missionary?
Not everyone can do these things. Some have families, some have jobs, and some are students. Does this mean that ministry is only for certain people?
We can find the answer in what Jesus said to Peter. Jesus asked him, “Do you love me?” Then He said, “Feed my sheep.”
Here we find the basic meaning of ministry. Ministry is loving and caring for the people the Lord has entrusted to us.
In the Bible, a shepherd feeds the sheep, protects them from danger, and searches for them when they are lost. David rescued his sheep from the lion and the bear. Jacob cared for his flocks through the heat of the day and the cold of the night. These shepherds help us understand how we should care for people spiritually.
If someone who used to worship with us is no longer coming, we should care enough to ask, “Why haven’t they been coming?” Are they sick? Are they facing problems at home? Are they struggling with doubts or going through a spiritual trial? We should help them with the Word of God, pray for them, and walk with them so that they can stand firm in faith again.
However, as we continue in ministry, it is easy to forget this basic purpose. We clean the church, prepare meals, lead praise, organize events, and build church buildings. These are all necessary and valuable acts of service. But at some point, the work itself can become more important than the people.
While building a church, we may become more interested in the building than in the people. While preparing an event, we may care more about whether the event was successful than whether people heard the gospel and grew in faith. While leading praise, we may focus more on how well we sang or played than on glorifying God. Even in missions, promoting our own name or organization can become more important than leading people to Jesus Christ.
When this happens, we need to return to the basics.
We do not have to quit our jobs to begin ministry. We do not have to care for many people from the beginning. We can start with one person around us. It may be a family member, someone in our church, a classmate, or a coworker.
We should not see that person simply as a number or someone to manage, but as someone precious, like family. We can stand with them when they are struggling, encourage them when their faith becomes weak, share the Word of God with them, pray for them, and help them grow closer to God.
Ministry does not begin with doing something great. It begins with loving and caring for one person whom the Lord has entrusted to us.
“Feed my sheep.” — John 21:17
Today’s Question : Who has the Lord entrusted to me today? How am I caring for that person?
Ministry is not only about being a missionary or doing something big or even working in the church. It is about loving and caring for the people God has created around us. We don’t have to leave our families and lives behind, we can serve God everyday from our homes by praying and helping one another. Ministry begins with love, care and helping others while serving the Lord.
सच्ची सेवकाही का अर्थ ये है कि.
पिता परमेश्वर ने जीन लोगोको सेवकाही के लिये चुना है
. उन लोगोने भेडोको रखवाली करणी चाहिये. जैसे कि कभी कभी भेडे भटक जाती है तो उन भेडोपर ध्यान देना चाहिये वो सभा मे जुडते है क्या प्रार्थना करते है क्या वचन को सुनते है क्या उनका विश्वास बड रहा है कि नही. तो उन लोगोको कॉल करके पूछना चाहिये.जरुरी नही कि हमे अपना घरका सारा काम करके या जॉब करने के बाद ही भेडो पर ध्यान देना है बल्की वो काम करके भी भेडोपर ध्यान देना है. जैसे कि हमारे पास्टर्जी गेदोन किम वो हमेशा हम सभीकि देखभाल करते आये है पुचते है सभीको वचन को तयार करते है ताकी सभी भेडे वचको सुने पडे और बदलते जाये.
उन्होने हमेशा सेवकाई को निभाया है परमेश्वर से प्रेम किया है.
सच्चा सेवकाई का मतलब वोही होता है bibel के नुसार जो लोग परमेश्वर से प्रेम करते है परमेश्वर के प्रति इमानदार होते है भेडोपर ध्यान देते है. प्रेम से वाचनसे समझाते है उनकी अगवाई करते है.
कुछ भेडे एसी होती है कितना भी वचन देणेपर समझते नही है उनको समझना मुश्किल होता है.
तो हार नही मानणा चाहिये उनको वचन से दाटना चाहिये. जो अपनी भेडोको दाटता है परमेश्वर उसे जादा प्रेम करते है. हमे भी अपनी भेडोकी देखभाल करनेकेलीये आलस नही करणा चाहिये लागातार परमेश्वर के कामको करणा चाहिये पिता परमेश्वर ढेरसारी आशिशे देते है आमेन 🫶🏻
आज के संदेश से समझ पाए सेवा का उत्तर पानी के लिए पतरस के बारे में जान पाते हैं यीशु ने उससे पूछा क्या तुम मुझसे प्रेम करते हो इसका अर्थ है कि उन लोगों से प्रेम करना और उनकीदेखभाल करना जिन्हें प्रभु ने हमें सोफा है सच्ची सेवा का अर्थ है केवल चर्च में काम करना नहीं हमें प्रभु के भेड़ को देखभाल करना एक दूसरे का मदद करना चरवाहे हमें यह सीखते हैं हमें आत्मिक रूप से लोगों की देखभाल कैसे करनी चाहिए जैसे की कोई व्यक्ति जो पहले हमारे साथ आराधना करते थे अब वह नहीं आ रहे हैं तो हमें उससे पूछना चाहिए तो क्यों नहीं आ रही है क्या कोई समस्या है उनको सेवा शुरू करने के लिए हमें अपनी नौकरी छोड़ने की जरूरत नहीं है उनके विश्वास कमजोर होने की वजह से उन्हें वचन से साझा कर सकते हैं प्रार्थना करें तो फिर विश्वास में मजबूती पा सके इसका अर्थ है कलीसिया की सदस्यों को देखभाल करना मैं विश्वास करती हूं कि जब प्रभु यीशु मसीह हमारे साथ हैं तो हम प्रभु का कार्य को पूरा जरूर कर पाएंग प्रभु ने कहे हैं कि हमारे भेड़ को चलाओ इससे हम समझ पाते हैं कि हम जो कुछ भी करते हैं हम प्रभु की महिमा के लिए करेंगे धन्यवाद पिता परमेश्वर

This message helped me understand what true service really means.
Sometimes we think that doing ministry means leaving our job, leaving everything, and working only in the church. We may wonder, What should I do to serve God? Because of this misunderstanding, some people leave their other responsibilities and only work in the church.
But today’s message cleared this misunderstanding. True service does not mean only working in the church. It means taking care of the Lord’s sheep and helping others.
Our Lord has called all of us, so we all have to serve him. We can serve Him while staying in our own place n doing our responsibilities. We can help church members understand the messages, clear their doubts, n help them remain in the Lord. We should not only think about how the program went. We should also think, did the members understand the message? Do they have any doubts? How can I help them?
This is what true service means.

आज के इस सुंदर संदेश के द्वारा मुझे पता चला कि सेवकाई का सही अर्थ क्या है।
सेवकाई का अर्थ यह नहीं है कि हम अपने-अपने कार्यों को छोड़कर केवल चर्च में किसी अच्छे पद पर कार्य करें या अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को छोड़कर केवल चर्च में ही सेवा करें। सभी के जीवन में अपनी-अपनी जिम्मेदारियाँ हैं—कोई विद्यार्थी है, कोई नौकरी करता है, कोई गृहिणी है, तो कोई व्यवसायी है। हमें इस संसार में सौंपी गई अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को भी पूरी निष्ठा से निभाना है।
तो फिर हम सेवकाई कैसे कर सकते हैं?
आज के इस संदेश से मैंने सीखा कि सच्ची सेवकाई का अर्थ है यीशु मसीह की भेड़ों की देखभाल करना, उनके लिए प्रार्थना करना और उनकी अगुवाई करना।
यीशु ने पतरस से कहा, “क्या तू मुझसे प्रेम करता है?” पतरस ने कहा, “हाँ प्रभु, तू जानता है कि मैं तुझसे प्रेम करता हूँ।” तब यीशु ने उससे कहा कि यदि तू मुझसे प्रेम करता है, तो मेरी भेड़ों की देखभाल कर।
इसका अर्थ है कलीसिया के सदस्यों की देखभाल करना, यह जानना कि उन्हें परमेश्वर का संदेश समझ में आया या नहीं, उनकी आत्मिक उन्नति में सहायता करना, उन्हें प्रभु के और भी करीब लाना और उन्हें दोबारा संसार की ओर जाने से बचाना।
यही सच्ची सेवकाई है, जिससे यीशु मसीह प्रसन्न होते हैं। हमें अपने जीवन की जिम्मेदारियों को निभाते हुए जहाँ भी हैं, वहीं प्रेम, प्रार्थना और सेवा के द्वारा प्रभु के कार्य में सहभागी बनना चाहिए।

इस संदेश के द्वारा मुझे यह भी एहसास हुआ है कि मुझे कलीसिया के सदस्यों के लिए और भी गहराई से प्रार्थना करनी है और मसीह के समान प्रेम और हृदय के साथ उनकी देखभाल करनी है।
पहले जब भी कोई बात सही नहीं होती थी, तो मुझे थोड़ी असहजता महसूस होती थी, खासकर जब मुझे लगता था कि उससे मेरे पास्टर को ठेस पहुँच सकती है। लेकिन धीरे-धीरे मुझे समझ आया है कि मुझे और अधिक धैर्य रखना है, प्रेम के साथ सहना है और अंत तक लोगों की देखभाल करते रहना है। शायद हमारे इसी प्रेम, धैर्य और निरंतर देखभाल के द्वारा ऐसे लोग भी अंत में बदल सकें।
कल प्रभु का दिन, अर्थात रविवार, भी था और कुछ लोग कलीसिया की आराधना में उपस्थित नहीं हो पाए। लेकिन आगे से मैं भी हर एक सदस्य की एक माँ के समान हृदय रखकर देखभाल करना चाहती हूँ, उसी प्रेम, धैर्य और करुणा के साथ, जैसा हमारे उद्धारकर्ता प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने हमारे प्रति दिखाया है।
मैं प्रार्थना करती हूँ और विश्वास करती हूँ कि प्रभु जल्द ही हमारी युवा सेवकाई में से बहुत से मेहनती, विश्वासयोग्य और मसीह से प्रेम करने वाले अगुवों को खड़ा करेंगे, जो हमारे स्वर्गीय पिता के हृदय के लिए सच्चे आनंद का कारण बनेंगे।
आइए, हम एक दूसरे का हाथ थामकर और भी उत्साह और लगन के साथ आगे बढ़ें, ताकि हम मिलकर एक और आत्मा को बचाने के लिए प्रभु के कार्य में अपना योगदान दे सकें। और हाँ, जब प्रभु यीशु मसीह हमारे साथ हैं, तो हम यह कार्य अवश्य कर सकते हैं।
हम जो कुछ भी करें, वह हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह की महिमा के लिए हो।
From this message, I have also realised that I need to pray for and care for the church members more deeply, with a heart like Christ.
Earlier, whenever something was not right, I would feel uncomfortable, especially when I felt that something might hurt or disappoint my pastor. But slowly, I have come to understand that I need to have more patience, endure with love, and continue caring for people until the very end. Perhaps, through this love and patience, even those who are struggling may eventually be changed.
Yesterday was also the Lord’s Day, and some people missed the church service. Moving forward, I want to care for each member with the heart of a mother, with the same love, patience, and compassion that Christ our Saviour has shown us.
I pray and believe that the Lord will soon raise up many hardworking, faithful, and Christ loving leaders from our youth ministry, leaders who will become a true reason for joy in the heart of our Heavenly Father.
Let us hold each other’s hands and move forward more fervently, with one purpose: to save one more soul together. And yes, with Jesus Christ by our side, we can do this work.
May everything we do bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.
