Accident and Despair
I suffered a severe spinal injury, and my life became very difficult. On July 9, I climbed onto a neighbor’s roof to repair a leak, but I slipped and fell to the ground. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the next day I had a major spinal surgery that lasted 9 hours. After the surgery, the doctor said, “The lower half of your body will be paralyzed. It will be difficult for you to walk again.” Even after the surgery, my condition did not improve, and I still could not walk. I was later registered as a person with a second-degree physical disability, and my welfare card was issued on February 24, 2003.

I had been healthy and active since I was young, but everything changed in a moment. I could not move on my own, and I could not even do basic daily activities. My wife had to take care of everything, including helping me lie down, use the restroom, and manage daily life, and she even had to borrow money because of the increasing hospital bills. Even with crutches, it took me one hour to walk 100 meters, and I thought, “Is this how my life will end?”

I was officially registered as a person with a second-degree physical disability.
1. X-ray immediately after the accident: The first vertebra was broken, and my spine was bent forward.
2. X-ray after the operation: The first vertebra was fixed with surgical screws.

The Beginning of Hope
One day, I received a mission newspaper from a friend that contained testimonies of healing that God had done. I read about people who were healed—those who could not see, hear, or walk—and a small hope came into my heart, “Maybe God can heal me too.” After that, I was introduced to a church and began attending worship services. The church members welcomed me warmly like family, and through their love and care my heart slowly began to open.

During Worship
As I attended worship and listened to the Word of God, I began to look back on my life and realized that I had lived according to my own thoughts, not according to God’s will. While praying during worship, my heart was deeply moved, and I began to see my life clearly before God. With tears, I prayed, “Father God, please forgive my life. I want to live according to Your will.” As I truly repented, I felt peace in my heart and a joy that I had never experienced before.

The Moment of Healing
During worship, as I prayed to God, something began to change in my body. My body felt warm, and strength started to come into my waist and legs. Then I stood up by myself. Before this, I could not stand even for a moment without crutches, but at that moment I was standing on my own, and then I began to walk step by step. My wife saw this and began to cry, and I also could not believe it, and I gave thanks to God.

Changed Life and Confession
After that, my condition continued to improve, and now I can walk and live a normal daily life. I help my wife at home and live a new life. Most importantly, my heart has changed. Before, I lived in despair and frustration, but now I live with gratitude and hope in God. Through this experience, I clearly realized that when we repent and seek God, God works in our lives. This healing was not done by a person, but by God, and I give all the glory to God.

According to the electromyogram (EMG) test, most of the nerves in my lower body are recovering.
