My life was defined by pain, poverty, and misfortune. I suffered from chronic tuberculosis for years, broke my ribs, and had a foot injury from an ox that left me unable to kneel. As the eldest son in a struggling family, I bore the weight of blame and faced despair so deep I contemplated suicide.

My childhood was difficult. After my father lost both legs, I lived with my uncle. My health was a constant battle:

Just as I was experiencing restoration, our family faced the greatest trial of our lives. In April 2012, my mother—the one who had always loved and supported me—was diagnosed with late-stage laryngeal cancer.
The medical verdict was crushing:
“There is no hope. Take her home.”
Our family was devastated. But by this time, I had already seen God’s power through His Word. I chose to hold onto faith rather than fear.
A Miraculous Recovery from Laryngeal Cancer
