On November 18, 2023, my 10-year-old son accidentally swallowed a 2-centimeter coin. My husband and I rushed him to the hospital because we were afraid that the coin might block his airway and cause him to choke.
While we were on the way to the hospital, I reflected on my life and realized that there were some things that were not right in God’s sight. I repented of them and prayed to God with a sincere heart.
The doctor said that surgery might be necessary if the coin did not come out of my son’s body naturally. However, because of our family’s financial situation, we could not afford the cost of surgery. We had no other choice but to rely completely on God and pray earnestly for His help.
As we continued to pray, my son said that the pain in his stomach was gone. I felt peace in my heart and believed that God was protecting him.
On November 24, I took my son back to the hospital for another X-ray. Something truly amazing had happened. The coin that had been inside his body was no longer there.
We give all thanks and glory to God, who is almighty and who protected my son and removed the coin from his body. Through this experience, our faith in God became stronger, and we came to trust Him more deeply in every situation.
