At Christmas, the world is filled with stories of light. We hear phrases like “The Light has come,” “The Light of Hope,” and “The Light that brightens the darkness.” But what does the “Light” in the Bible truly mean? We must remember that this Light is not just a symbol for festive atmosphere or emotional comfort.
What truly matters is where the Light lands. Jesus desires to come into our hearts rather than the decorated streets or festive celebrations. How does this Light enter our hearts? The spiritual principle is simple: The moment we hear and read God’s Word—the moment we choose to love and forgive according to that Word—Jesus, as the Word, enters our hearts as Light.
However, if we hold onto hatred, resentment, and sin, our hearts turn from a land of light into a land of darkness. Darkness does not just stay quiet; it tries to control our thoughts, shake our emotions, and eventually dominate our entire lives.
When light shines, everything hidden is revealed. In the dark, people justify their sins because they cannot discern right from wrong. But those who live in the light choose faithfulness even in the smallest matters. They do not take a borrowed pen lightly, and if they receive extra change by mistake at a shop, they don’t call it a “blessing” but honestly return it. In business, choosing not to deceive even at a loss is the clearest evidence that we are children of light.
The true way to prepare for Christmas is integrity, not convenience. True blessing does not come to those who only seek it with their lips. It comes to those who keep the small order of standing in line, choose honesty when no one is watching, and value God’s eyes over personal gain. We do not live this way because someone is watching, but because we love the Light.
When light enters, darkness doesn’t just lose a fight; it ceases to exist and leaves. That is when the tangled problems of life are unraveled, true peace settles in, and the work of healing and restoration begins. This Christmas, before looking at the bright lights of the world, I encourage you to look at the state of your heart. Is your heart a land where light dwells, or is it still a land of darkness? When you truly open the door of your heart to Jesus Christ, He will joyfully enter and brighten your life.
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)

This message is so beautiful, it tells us about Light! It tells that Jesus is the Light n do we know where is this light?
At Christmas what do we do?
We decorate our homes with Christmas tree n lights and everywhere we see Lights but this is not true Light. The true Light is Jesus, he is light if our life….
Jesus desires to come into our hearts rather than the decorated streets or festive celebrations. Then how can he enter into our hearts?
Jesus comes into our hearts when we follow God’s word n listen words of God and when we dwell on his words.
Then we can that we are in the Light Jesus is into our hearts and now I also try to find myself at Christmas that Am I in the light or not!

यीशु का प्रकाश और हमारा हृदय (मुख्य संदेश का सार)
प्रकाश का वास्तविक स्थान: यीशु बाहरी उत्सवों, सजी-धजी सड़कों या केवल भावनात्मक सुख में नहीं आते। उनका असली निवास स्थान मनुष्य का हृदय है। जब हम परमेश्वर का वचन सुनते हैं और उसके अनुसार प्रेम व क्षमा का मार्ग चुनते हैं, तो वह प्रकाश हमारे भीतर प्रवेश करता है।
अंधकार बनाम प्रकाश: यदि हम अपने भीतर नफरत, ईर्ष्या और पाप को जगह देते हैं, तो हमारा जीवन अंधकार के नियंत्रण में चला जाता है। इसके विपरीत, प्रकाश में रहने वाले लोग अपने जीवन की छोटी-छोटी बातों में भी ईमानदारी (जैसे—उधार ली गई कलम लौटाना, व्यापार में घाटा होने पर भी धोखा न देना) चुनते हैं।
ईमानदारी ही सच्ची तैयारी है: क्रिसमस या मसीही जीवन की सच्ची तैयारी सुविधा की नहीं, बल्कि ईमानदारी की है। परमेश्वर की आशीष केवल शब्दों से मांगने वालों को नहीं, बल्कि नियमों पर चलने वाले और गुप्त में भी ईमानदारी बरतने वाले लोगों को मिलती है।

yah shirshak gahrai se sochne par majboor karta hai। khaskar christmas aur tyoharon ke samay jab duniya bahari lights aur chamak-damak se bhari hoti hai, tab yah lekh hamen yaad dilata hai ki asli roshni hamare “chhipe hue hriday ki gahrai” aur antaratma mein hai। jab bahar andhkar ho, tab aantarik vishwas ka yah prakash hi hamen sahi rasta dikhata hai।
