My name is Keshav, and I live in Agra, India. I would like to share the testimony of my 3-year-old niece, Manvi.
In early February 2026, I was shocked and deeply distressed when I heard that Manvi had fallen from the second floor. At first, I hoped it was only a mild concussion, but the diagnosis we received at the hospital was far more serious than we had expected.
An MRI scan revealed severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) with multiple areas of bleeding and swelling in the brain. In particular, her condition was suspected to be Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI), which is considered extremely critical.
Diffuse Axonal Injury is a serious form of brain injury in which the brain’s nerve connections (axons) are damaged as if they are torn apart, making it very difficult for the brain to function properly. In addition, when accompanied by brain hemorrhage, the accumulated blood and swelling increase pressure inside the brain, compressing brain tissue and significantly impairing its function. In Manvi’s case, since the bleeding occurred in multiple areas, it was not localized, making it extremely difficult to treat surgically and placing her in a very dangerous condition.
In such cases, the chances of survival are low, and even if the patient survives, full recovery is often difficult, with long-term complications likely to remain.
The doctors told us that even if she survived, she might not be able to understand speech, respond normally, or develop like other children. They warned that she could suffer serious long-term neurological effects.
By God’s grace, she regained consciousness and was discharged on February 7. However, after returning home, she was completely different from before. She did not respond properly when spoken to, and she repeatedly clapped or smiled without reason. She could not eat on her own and constantly needed someone by her side to take care of her.
We live together as a large extended family in one house, so all of us had to witness her condition closely and take care of her together. It was heartbreaking to see her like that, and we were constantly worried about what would happen to her.
However, I believed in God and had previously experienced His power. In 2022, my mother had suffered a brain hemorrhage and fell into a coma, and doctors said she had very little chance of survival. But as we attended worship services, she regained consciousness and recovered to the point where she could speak and eat normally. My father also experienced healing of his eyesight after attending worship services.
Because of these experiences, I made a decision to trust God even in this situation. Although there was no sign of improvement, our family continued to attend worship services, rely on God, reflect on ourselves with repentance, and earnestly seek His help.
After about a month, we began to see changes in Manvi. She slowly started to respond again, and her behavior gradually returned to normal.
Now, Manvi has fully recovered and is completely back to her normal self, just as she was before.
My younger brother, who is a doctor and personally witnessed her initial condition, is greatly amazed by her recovery. He says that such recovery after severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and DAI is extremely rare.
I sincerely thank God for allowing me to see my niece Manvi bright and cheerful again.
All thanks and glory be to God for healing her completely from such a severe brain injury without any lasting complications.
