The Bible says that the Old Testament is a shadow, and the New Testament is the reality. In the Old Testament, people placed their sins on a lamb. The lamb died in their place, and its blood was sprinkled to wash away sin. But in the New Testament, Jesus came as the Lamb of God. He carried our sins and gave His perfect life. Through His blood, all our sins are washed away.
1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you?”
Then what was the temple in the time of Moses? It was the tabernacle. The tabernacle was divided into three parts: the courtyard, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place. In the courtyard, people brought animals and offered sacrifices. They gave burnt offerings and sin offerings. Through the shedding of blood, they received forgiveness of sins. In the Holy Place, priests served God every day. They kept the lamp burning, placed bread before God, and burned incense as a symbol of prayer. It was a place of fellowship and service to God.
In the Most Holy Place, there was the Ark of the Covenant, which symbolized God’s presence. Inside the ark were the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. Above it was the mercy seat, where God’s glory appeared. Only the high priest could enter the Most Holy Place, and only once a year. He went in with blood to make atonement for his own sins and the sins of the people. Anyone who touched the ark carelessly would die. This showed how holy God is.
But when Jesus died on the cross, the curtain of the temple was torn from top to bottom. Now the way to God has been opened for us. Before, we could not come to God because we were sinners. But through the blood of Jesus, our sins were forgiven, and we now have peace with God. Now we can come boldly into God’s presence.

इस संदेश को पढ़कर मुझे गहराई से समझ में आया कि पुराने नियम में हर कोई परमेश्वर से सीधे बात नहीं कर सकता था। केवल याजक को ही मंदिर में प्रवेश करने और पवित्र स्थान में जाने का अधिकार था। इससे यह स्पष्ट होता है कि हमारा परमेश्वर कितना पवित्र है।
फिर भी परमपिता परमेश्वर चाहते थे कि हर व्यक्ति पवित्र बने, इसलिए उन्होंने हमारे पापों के लिए प्रभु यीशु को भेजा। प्रभु यीशु के बलिदान के द्वारा पाप की दीवार टूट गई और अब हम परमेश्वर के पास निडर होकर जा सकते हैं।
प्रभु यीशु के द्वारा हमें परमपिता से मिलने और उनसे बात करने का अवसर मिला, इसके लिए मैं हृदय से धन्यवाद करती हूँ।

In the past, when a person sinned, the blood of an animal was offered to God as a sacrifice for forgiveness. However, when Lord Jesus Christ came into this world, He offered His own precious blood for us. According to the New Testament, we no longer need to present animal sacrifices for our sins, because the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Therefore, we pray and humbly ask that our sins be forgiven through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
