There are certain expressions in Christian prayer and worship that should be used only for God.
“The One who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
“The One who knows me better than I know myself.”
“The One who loves me more than I love myself.”
“The One who heals my broken heart.”
“The One who forgives my sins and saves my soul.”
These are not simply beautiful religious expressions. They describe the unique character, authority, love, and power of God.
God’s Unique Attributes Cannot Be Given to People
People can love, comfort, forgive, teach, and help others. However, human love and understanding are always limited. No person can fully know another person’s heart. No human being remains unchanged forever. A person may forgive someone who has hurt them, but only God can forgive sins committed before Him. A person may preach the gospel, but only Jesus Christ can save a soul. A person who runs well cannot compare himself with an Olympic gold medalist. In the same way, even the greatest human love cannot be compared with the perfect and eternal love of God.
What Happens When God’s Titles Are Given to People?
Suppose someone describes a human leader as:
“The one who loves me more than I love myself.”
“The one who knows everything in my heart.”
“The one who heals my broken heart.”
“The one who saved my soul.”
These words may sound like expressions of deep respect and gratitude. However, they can place a human being in a position that belongs only to God. A person may comfort someone who is brokenhearted, but only God can bring true healing to the heart. A person may pray, teach the Bible, or guide someone toward faith, but no human being is the source of grace or salvation. God may work through people, but all power and glory belong to Him alone.
People Are Instruments, Not the Source
Christians should appreciate those who faithfully teach, encourage, pray, and serve.
It is appropriate to say:
“Through that person’s comfort, I received strength.”
“Through that person’s prayer, I experienced God’s grace.”
“Through the message that person shared, I came to know God more deeply.”
These expressions recognize a person as an instrument of God without placing that person in God’s position. People may be channels of God’s love, but they are not the source of that love. They may share the message of salvation, but they are not the Savior. They may pray for healing, but they are not the ultimate healer.
Even if we receive countless acts of kindness and help from others, none of them can take the place of the saving grace we have received through Jesus Christ. We should be grateful to people for what they have done for us, but our worship and deepest gratitude belong to the Lord who gave His life to save us.
Worship and Respect Are Different
There is nothing wrong with respecting spiritual leaders or thanking those who teach, encourage, and help us. However, respect for people and worship of God must remain clearly distinct.
We may honor people and be grateful for what they have done. But when we place a person in a position that belongs only to God, respect becomes idolatry. This happens when a person’s words are treated as absolute, or when the trust, glory, and devotion that belong to God are given to a human being. Christians must therefore honor people without placing them in God’s position, and give worship and glory to God alone.
Give Glory to God Alone
We must not give a human being the worship, glory, or spiritual authority that belongs only to God. People are God’s servants, instruments, and channels.
Only God fully knows the human heart.
Only God forgives sins.
Only Jesus Christ saves souls.
Only God deserves worship and eternal glory.
Let us honor as servants of God, and let God alone receive all the glory.
Jai masih ki hum is sandesh se seekh paaye h की मनुष्य एक संसाधन मात्र है जो प्रतिदिन के कार्यों को करता है ,और अपनी इस शारीरिक जिंदगी को जीता है,लेकिन इस जिंदगी को बस ऐसे ही खाते पीते मौज मस्ती करते गुजर देना ,इसका कोई मतलब नहीं बनता है,हमें यह निश्चय जानना आवश्यक है कि हमें इस धरती पर परमेश्वर ने क्यों लाया ,तो जब हम अपने सीनियर पास्टर जी से मिले ,उसके द्वारा युटुब से दिये गये वचन को सुने तो पाये ये सारी चीजों को ,तब हम सही मायने में अपने इस मनुष्य जीवn ko ji rhe h ki iske baad bhi एक जिंदगी है जो हमें जीनी h lekin us जिंदगी को पाने के लिए हमें परमेश्वर के वचन में निवास करना है,जो कहा गया है वचn me करने को वो करना है और जो नहीं खा गया है करने को उसे भी करना है,हमें अपने हृदय में कोई मूर्ति पूजा को जगह नहीं देनी है ,चाहे कोई मूर्ति हो चाहे कोई मनुष्य के लिए हृदय में अपार प्रेम हो या कोई पशु पक्षी,या वस्तु ,हमारा एक ही जीवीत परमेश्वर है यीशु मसीह ,और हमारा पहला प्रेम ही यीशु मसीह, पिता परमेश्वर होने चाहिए इन्हीं को याद के सारे काम काज करने चाहिए इन्हीं को केवल महिमा देनी चाहिए।
