These days, there is a word called “fire gazing.” It means quietly watching a campfire without thinking about anything. Even this simple act is said to help the brain rest from stress and bring emotional calm. Because a campfire gives warmth, people naturally move closer to it on cold winter days. Placing sweet potatoes in the fire and eating them while blowing on them is a sweet and comforting memory many of us share.
During the day, we have sunlight. Sunlight not only drives away darkness, but also creates rainbows, disinfects, and helps plants produce oxygen through photosynthesis, making life possible.
Then what about the spiritual light of God the Father, which is different from the light of this world? Habakkuk 3:4 says, “His radiance is like the sunlight; rays flash from His hand, and there His power is hidden.” Within God’s light is power—the power to drive out darkness, to heal, to create, and to rule.
James 1:17 also says that every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights. God’s light is love and grace, and it is a perfect gift given to us. Just as we draw near to a campfire to feel its warmth, the closer we come to God’s light, the more our hearts are filled with grace, love, joy, and peace.
On the other hand, hell, where there is no light, is a place filled with fear, despair, regret, and darkness. The pain of punishment is great, but the greater suffering is the despair of having no hope at all. In contrast, Heaven, filled with the light of God, is a place of eternal life and everlasting joy, where goodness, love, peace, and happiness remain forever.
In Heaven, there are many dwelling places. As we live on this earth, the more our hearts are refined and the more we become like God, the closer our dwelling place will be to His light. God’s light shines throughout Heaven, but the closer we draw near to Him, the more deeply we experience His grace, love, and goodness.
Therefore, let us abandon even the appearance of evil, pursue true holiness, and move toward the light.

Before I started attending your church, and before reading the messages through this website, I was always living life full of being unsure whether I could enter heaven or not. I always had a fear towards hell. But when I started reading the messages about Hope, hell and heaven, I realised that even if I lived a life that was not pleasing to God in my teenage. I still have time because I’m still alive and instead of feeling scared, God made me feel safe and tears of joy and hope started flowing from my eyes thinking how patiently my God in heaven and my Lord Jesus Christ are waiting for me to change and for each soul to change. I love you Jesus Christ my Lord, my saviour and my everything. You are my only true treasure. I want to gain you always and always. I love you Lord.
