Thank you to everyone who uses MBstudy. We have improved several features to help you study God’s Word and keep your faith records more easily and safely.
1. Improved Login
You can now use either Google Login or your existing username and password.
The login process is simpler, and many of the previous login difficulties have been resolved.
2. Learning Level Codes Beside Comment Names
A small light-pink learning level code now appears beside each comment author’s name.
The code combines the student’s current Bible study level with their quiz progress.
000— Completed the New Believers Course100— Started Level 1 but has not yet passed any quizzes132— Completed about 32% of the Level 1 quizzes145— Completed about 45% of the Level 1 quizzes196— Completed about 96% of the Level 1 quizzes199— Completed Level 1 but has not yet started Level 2200— Started Level 2230— Completed about 30% of the Level 2 quizzes
Progress is not based simply on opening or reading a lesson. It is calculated from the percentage of quizzes in the current course that the student has passed with a score of 75% or higher.
For example, if Level 1 contains 100 quizzes and a student passes 45 of them with a score of at least 75%, the student’s code will be 145.
If a new quiz is added or an existing quiz is removed, the total number of quizzes will change. The student’s progress will then be adjusted automatically during the next calculation.
These codes are not spiritual rankings and do not measure whether one person’s faith is higher or lower than another person’s faith. They are simply a way to thank and encourage those who faithfully study God’s Word.
The codes are not calculated in real time. To protect the server, students are processed in small groups. After the first calculation is completed, students whose learning records have changed will normally be updated once a day. Therefore, the code may not change immediately after completing a quiz.
A student must complete the previous level before the next level is displayed. For example, even if a student has started Level 2, the Level 1 code will continue to appear until Level 1 is completed.
Comments always show the student’s current level, not the level they had when the comment was written. For example, if a student’s code was 150 one year ago but is now 230, all of that student’s past and present comments will display 230.
3. My Life with Jesus (QT)
We have created a My Life with Jesus (QT) page where you can view your QT reflections and comments in one place.
▶ Go to My Life with Jesus (QT)
You can look back on what you learned from God’s Word, what you were thankful for, and the prayers and commitments you made before the Lord.
You can also write down today’s gratitude, prayer, reflection, or commitment as a personal QT record.
A record saved as Private QT can be viewed only by the writer and the site administrator. It is not visible to other members or visitors.
4. Improved Website Speed and Stability
Recently, unusual traffic and attacks on the website caused the server to become slow or temporarily unavailable. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We have strengthened our security and caching systems to reduce the burden on the server. The website should now be faster and more stable. We will continue monitoring the server and improving the areas that need attention.
We sincerely thank everyone who studies God’s Word and walks with us through MBstudy. Above all, we give all thanks and glory to God for guiding this ministry and allowing us to serve together.
