When people build a house, they usually look first at large and beautiful stones. Stones that stand out and look impressive seem valuable. Small, rough, and plain stones are often ignored and easily thrown away. The Bible calls such a stone “the rejected stone,” a stone dismissed by human judgment.
But a true builder thinks differently. A real builder does not look first for a decorative stone, but for the stone that determines the direction and balance of the whole building. That stone is the cornerstone. The cornerstone is not easily seen, but without it, the building loses its alignment and will eventually collapse. Large and beautiful stones can decorate a house, but they cannot hold it together.
The Bible says,
“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone” (Psalm 118:22).
People rejected it, but God chose it as the standard. The world judged it as useless, but God saw it as the stone that supports the entire structure. Jesus Christ is that cornerstone. The world expected a powerful and glorious Messiah, but God established salvation through Jesus, who was humbled and rejected.
Even today, God asks us a question:
Do we want to become a stone that looks valuable in human eyes,
or a cornerstone held in God’s hands, setting the right direction for others?

Amen इस संदेश से मैंने सीखा कि जीवन में हमें दुनिया की नजर में कीमती बनने की बजाय, परमेश्वर के हाथ में आदर्श आधारशिला बनने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए। बड़े और सुंदर पत्थर दिखावे के लिए हो सकते हैं, लेकिन असली स्थिरता और मार्गदर्शन वही पत्थर देते हैं जिन्हें दुनिया अक्सर अस्वीकार कर देती है। यही संदेश मुझे याद दिलाता है कि हमारी पहचान और मूल्य परमेश्वर की नजर में तय होते हैं, न कि दूसरों की सोच से।
