“None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:8
Satan thought that everything would end if he could kill Jesus. He believed that by removing Jesus, he could stop God’s plan of salvation and continue ruling over this world. However, Satan became trapped by his own scheme. The cross that he intended to use to destroy Jesus became the very means through which God opened the way of salvation.
To understand the secret of the cross, we must return to Genesis.
God created human beings and entrusted them with authority to rule over the earth. But Adam and Eve listened to the serpent rather than to God’s Word. As a result, humanity became enslaved to sin and came under the dominion of sin and death.
“Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey?” Romans 6:16
Satan ruled over people through sin and death, and he wanted to maintain that dominion forever. However, immediately after Adam sinned, God promised that the offspring of the woman would come and crush the serpent’s head.
“He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15
Satan knew that one day a Savior would come and destroy his authority. Therefore, he tried to kill the Savior as soon as He appeared.
When Jesus was born, King Herod ordered that all the boys two years old and under in Bethlehem and the surrounding area be killed. His intention was to kill the child Jesus along with them. After Jesus began His ministry, Satan used the jealousy of the religious leaders and the fear of the people to bring persecution against Him. When Jesus was finally crucified, Satan must have thought that he had won.
However, Satan did not understand the most important truth.
“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23
Human beings came under the dominion of death because of sin. But Jesus had no sin.
“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” 1 Peter 2:22
Since the wages of sin is death, Jesus had no reason to die for His own sin. Yet Satan moved people to kill the sinless Jesus.
Satan thought that everything would be over once he took Jesus’ life. But the death of the sinless Jesus became the atoning sacrifice that paid the price for our sins.
“He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities.” Isaiah 53:5
This is the secret of the cross: the cross that Satan used to remove Jesus became the way through which sinners could be saved.
Satan thought he had defeated Jesus, but instead, Satan was trapped by his own scheme. If he had understood God’s hidden plan, he would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Jesus did not remain in death. He rose again on the third day. On the cross, He paid the price for our sins, and through His resurrection, He overcame sin, death, and the authority of Satan.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18
Satan thought his dominion would continue if he killed Jesus. But through that very cross, the way of salvation was opened. Through the resurrection, it was revealed that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus Christ.
Today’s Reflection
The cross was not Satan’s victory. It was the moment when Satan became trapped by his own scheme.
The death of Jesus atoned for our sins, and His resurrection broke the power of death.
Do I truly believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins?
Today, let us believe in Jesus, who has all authority, turn away from sin, and live in obedience to His Word.

This message shows us that we must always listen to what God says and commands. When the first human beings, Adam and Eve sinned by listening to the serpent instead of listening to God and ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, it resulted in all of humanity sinning and being ruled by the temptations of power and domination which was exactly what Satan wanted between the people. Satan knew that God would send a saviour to save the people from sinning and doing the wrong things, so Satan created a plan to not let that happen. The killing of all the boys of two years of age and under in Bethlehem and the surrounding areas through King Herod, the jealousy of the religious leaders and the fear of the people were all part of Satan’s plan to not let the people be saved from sin. The cross although on which Jesus, the son of God was crucified removed and washed away all the sins of the people. God knew that Jesus had to be sacrificed in order for the people to be saved. God loves us so much that he gave his one and only son to be crucified on the cross for our sins. Satan can never overpower or defeat God. The cross was not Satan’s victory even when he thought it would be but it was the moment when Satan became trapped by his own scheme. That was the secret of the cross. If there wasn’t a cross, there would be no resurrection and sins would still prevail among the people. This is why we have to obey God and refuse all temptations and never fall for the lies of Satan. Just follow God who did so much for us, who cares for us and who loves us so much.

This verse is really amazing because tells us that how Satan scheme failed to build his kingdom of sinners even after jesus death because Jesus is eternal and immortal God, He can never die.

कोशिश करता है. पर बादमे वो हार ही जाता है उसको हारनाही पडता है.
येशूको तो सैतान ने कृस पर लटकाया पर वो कृस हमारे लिये उद्धार ठेहरा.
क्योकी पिता परमेश्वर पहिलेही जाणते थे कि शैतान अपनी चाल चलेगा इसीलिये पिता परमेश्वर और पुत्र एन दोनोने भी अपनी योजना को गुपित रखा.
पिता परमेश्वर ने मुझको और आपको बचाने केलीये योजना को बनाया ताकी हम सभी उद्धार पाये.
और अभि भी सैतान अपनी योजना तो बना रहा है पर वो ही असमर्थ हो रहा वो हार गया है. क्योकी प्रभुणे पहिलेही मृत्युंको हरा दिया और विजय पाया इसीलिये अभि सैतान थक चुका है.
कल रातको 12.30 के टाइम मे मेरी मम्मी सोयी थी और मेरे दो भाई जाग रहे थे तो दरवाजे को बहोत जोर जोर से थाप मार रहा था और चिखनेकी आवाज आरही थी और वो किसी बाईकी आवाज थी.
मेरे दोनो भाइयोंने सुना अच्छा हुआ कि इन्होने दरवाजा नहीं खोला और नाही ये दोनो डर गये.
और मेरी mummy कृस का संदेश रोज पडती है और मेरा भाई सुनता है और दुसरा भाई mbstudy के संदेश सुनता है इसी कारणसे वो सैतान भाग गया.
मेरी मम्मी ने आज सुभा बताया और मुझे पूछा कि कोण होगा.

When Adam sinned all the authority at that time, all authority had fallen into Satan’s hands. Then God declared that the offspring of the woman would crush the serpent’s head. When the Lord Jesus Christ was born, Satan tried to destroy Him through King Herod by ordering the massacre of all the young boys. But God protected Jesus.
Later, when the time came for Jesus to be crucified, Satan thought he had won and that the earth would remain under his dominion. However, God’s plan was hidden within the cross. Since the wages of sin is death, death has power only over those who have sinned. But the Lord Jesus Christ never committed any sin. Therefore, He rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death and delivering us from our sins.
